Fuji Australia quoted me approx $150 + postage etc for a quotation to

Just saying hello on my first post here. I am absolutely new to

currently trying to find info on basic equipment to buy which is not

I'm seeking opinions from people who own either the D70 or 300D digital

Some background: I currently own a Nikon emulsion camera, a fair bit of
F mount glass & flash gear suitable for it, so I'm biased towards the

Anyone Using a Panasonic Lumix 5 DMC-FZ20?23 Dec 2004 22:26 GMT8

good transition between the Handicam and an SLR digital.  I especially like
the 12x optical zoom, and the image stablization. 5mp is going to be
digital combinations23 Dec 2004 21:39 GMT27
What digital combination would give the equivalent of a 35mm slr with a
80 - 200 mm lens.
I primarily shoot people walking in crowds.  I was using a Nikon 35mm
with a 80-200 zoom to isolate subjects.  What is the digital
macro slide rail22 Dec 2004 21:20 GMT7
Short notice I konw, but anybody know where I can get a macro slide rail

I'm planning to buy a digital camera for a friend who works in a museum in a
third-world country. He will mainly transfer the pictures to a computer. He
will also need to take detailed close-up shots of stuff in the museum. Can
anyone recommend a basic little digital that could do ...
Prints From Scanned Slides22 Dec 2004 10:24 GMT9
I haven't got around yet to scanning slides in any great number (have an Epson
