I'm looking at purchasing a laptop new. Not sure which brand is regarded as king - I thought Toshiba was pretty good. Probably prefer windows OS. Something fast for 150mb Tiff image processing, with good reliability

I was reading the West Australian yesterday and noticed that Camera solutions in the Murrays street mall had the 300D out for $1695 with the 18-55mm lens. They also said in the ad they were happy to post them out.

In reading the new prophoto magazine the Mark2 is clocked at taking 36 frames in 2.384 seconds.......wow.... this is with the image quality set on JPEG/large......canon released the camera saying the top speed was 8.5 fps

I was after good value prints 10x15 in the Sydney area. The only good value is if you get bulk prints 50-100. Internet interface is also an option. Cheers Mark

150 megs TIFF file? What camera are you using ? You might want to use Dual processor CPU with 4 GB of RAM I think. =bob=

I need some advices on the size of CCD. Panasonic NVG200 is a 3 CCD camorder but their size is 1/6". Sony DCR PC330 has only one 1/3" CCD. What will be the different in their image and colour quality assuming their lens (Leica and Carl Zeiss) are the same quality?

Hasselblad are doing a Student Special at the moment and kits are selling for $3295 from PRAi in Perth Conditions are that the buyer must be a student currently studying photography and will be required to provide proof of this prior to purchase.
