I note that there has been virtually no threads dealing with film on this group, other then the few I started. If no one else is going start a film related thread then I really don’t want to hear about how this is a 35mm “film” group.

I found a tool to DL the entire Pbase/shootin photo set into a directory structure. Even generates a half-assed index for each mandate with thumbs... If anyone wants a copy of the archive, pls contact me by e-meil.

Hi people, I have the opportunity to buy an EOS 40D with Canon 17-85 zoom lens. I've no doubt about camera, what about the lens? It seems ok for travelling, both for weight and for covered focal range, and for the cost too! Please let me know your opinions. Thanks all.
