COPYRIGHT of Photos in the USA11 Jul 2008 00:18 GMT22
There seems to be an attempt by Annika1980 (AKA Bret Douglas) to
distort the facts surrounding his theft of my copyright images and his
claim of ownership of old images given to me by one of his
acquaintances. How you actually get to own copyright of a photo

Mississippi Photo Supply Sources?09 Jul 2008 20:27 GMT8
I have, mostly, moved to Brandon, MS; just east of Jackson.
I found the Jackson Photographic Society.  What else is in the Jackson area
that I should be aware of to meet my photo needs?  Is there any place that
will process B&W film or slides local?
Depth of field vs. lens speed.08 Jul 2008 16:52 GMT12
Do two different lenses with the same focal length but different maximum
apertures have the same depth of fields at the same f/stops? Since the lens
openings will be identical, I was wondering if the contour of the lens might
have some impact on this.
Helen and Draco all alone08 Jul 2008 00:59 GMT6
Notice how they scamper to the side of the Tennessee Scammer
no matter what the post? Notice how the TS responds in silence
until and unless a post is about him? Nope, he's not above getting
involved...just not with you two!  Ever wonder about that,

"It's a running gag I have going with Richie.
At least his brood doesn't all have big noses!"
At least he has a "brood".  Though I guess we're
fortunate you have been unable or unwilling to
Stop the Buffalo Slaughters06 Jul 2008 22:41 GMT1
An amazing true story of events that began as a phenomenon were soon
discovered as a message to all mankind.  The message comes at a time
of upheaval in our world.  A time in 2005 where history, science and
religion converge at one event.
Agfa Scala 200X04 Jul 2008 08:40 GMT6
I decided to use up 2 rolls of Scala 200X film that I had stored in my
refridgerator for quite some time now.  I know it takes a special
development, and my problem is trying to find someone who can process
this b&w slide film.
Happy Canada Day To All My Fellow Canadians!03 Jul 2008 02:15 GMT26
I've been away on vacation this Canada Day long weekend.  I just got
back and checked my email and the newsgroups.  It's a damn shame the
way Bret is being attacked from every which way.  I know it's nothing
new here in this nest of vipers, but what caught my attention is
pentax primes?02 Jul 2008 14:48 GMT3
I am on a tight budget. (In fact, I'm currently using a 40 year old
Practica ! ) I'm ready to get a budget DSLR , probably a used Pentax
IST or K100D body.
I have a 30 year  old Richo kit lense  (35-70) which is not great, but
