A720 vs the D3?19 May 2008 01:25 GMT3
That's right!
I know this is one of those burning issues that people just can't make up
their minds on.  Which camera takes better pics, the Canon A720 or the Nikon
D3?

Lee Friedlander18 May 2008 17:02 GMT2
I saw an exhibit of Lee Friedlander at SF MOMA today. Man he is really
anti-classical. Many of the shots are intentionally trying to look
really bad, and they succeed :-) many of those are very interesting
also. Often the gimmick is actually to be more honest about what we are
Big cat really quite small18 May 2008 16:47 GMT56
It's odd how you can stand beside the hull of a big cat in dry dock and it
towers over you ...yet when it's in the water surrounded by the really 'big
boys' toys... It can look so small...

Draco or Helen?17 May 2008 04:49 GMT8
Who has more of Bret's poop on their nose?  Draco seems
like a really nice girl, but sheesh woman, play a little harder
to get!  Helen....well, Bret could shoot a randomly focused,
over-processed snap of a mundane "wildlife" scene...oh wait,

Are EOS EF-S Lenses Usable on EOS IX APS Camera10 May 2008 08:04 GMT2
I am thinking of getting a cheap EOS IX body to use with my "digital"
lenses. I know the lens mount is the same and the coverage is
sufficient for APS-C. My question has to do with whether the rear
element of the EF-S would interfere with anything in the IX body.
The Three Tenors Perform For The D3!!07 May 2008 20:32 GMT4
As usual, the D3 was there to capture this once in a lifetime performance
given by these three magnificent vocalists.  Sadly, I didn't hit the memo
button on the D3 to capture the wonderful sound.
