I pop in now and then as a hobby shooter and see what is going on in
the photo world over the last week I have popped in a few times and
wondered what is different then it hit me these two groups are full of
people posting pictures and people commenting on pictures.

I run one of those mini-labs. I'm getting a lot of end-of-year printing
business and I've noticed some things.
Film is a lot more forgiving if you don't know what you're doing than
digital is. And most "photographers" don't know.
