I recently saw some digital pictures from someone14 Jan 2008 01:53 GMT12
They lack a naturalness that film has. I concede film will eventually
be like analog television as the technology and science improves but

PC -> Camera interface questions11 Jan 2008 22:40 GMT2
I'm looking to purchase a camera that will allow me to connect it to a
PC and control the functions via the PC. I am trying to almost emulate
the type of computer/camera setup that would be present at a DMV for
when a drivers license picture is taken.

I recently asked about panoramic cameras and got excellent advice but
the cameras were far outside my budget. Both the Noblex and Hasselblad
X-Pan were wonderful to read about and look at. I've now decided to go

Canon Quality ?10 Jan 2008 09:23 GMT3
Three years ago, I bought the first Canon Ixus I 4mpx camara. Used to
think that Canon should be good until now. The LCD monitor failed to
show life images, though it can play captured images. Sent for Canon
Service Center and informed that it is an optics/lens unit problem.
Any Kiev4 experts (adjustment of rangefinder)?09 Jan 2008 22:14 GMT1
The Kiev4A (without lightmeter on top) is quite easy to take off the front
cover
and adjust the rangefinder. But the Kiev4 with the lightmeter on top seems

[PICS] NC Zoo Patrons Love The 5D05 Jan 2008 04:30 GMT8
Zoo trip - I was astounded at the number of 5D's and pretty white
lenses people were totting around the place.  A great low light camera
to be sure, as it was overcast 90% of the time we were there.
For the record, the tropical frog exhibit was disappointing (My main
