Gitzo Carbon Fiber Leg Collar Repair23 Jan 2008 23:22 GMT1
I have a problem with two of the nine leg collars on my Gitzo Carbon Fiber
(CF) not locking to hold the leg in place.

Just curious. All B&W require sending out to a lab for processing;
usually get it back in a week or two.

I went to Radioshack and got a substitution battery for LRFF alkaline.
Except one problem; there is no exposure metering when I slightly
advance the advancing level and I'm looking through the lense with
lens cap off!! By this time I've opened and closed the battery slot at

I'm a newbie dummie but I put the right batteries in the NIKON F10 and
when I hit the shutter release no lighted up exposure metering
appeared in the NIKON TTL. Do I need to have film in the camera before
the exposure metering takes effect. They call the FM10 a manual camera

Two almost pinlike "holes on both sides where presumably a shoulder
strap is intended. Any advice about where to find one or make one?
Sunpak tripod does work with camera. Just had to screw several more

Are the new (digital) cameras compatible with lenses used for older 35mm
film cameras?

I just want to take this moment and thank everyone who has helped me
with their sound advice about photographic issues during my brief stay
here.  I certainly learned a lot thanks to your expert advice and know-
