[SI] Autumn Critique17 Dec 2007 13:53 GMT24
Well, work has let up a little, so why not take the time to trash someone

conclude, after reading this, that my photography is on par with my
critiquing skills. Lastly, do not check your sense of humor at ...

I have tried a variety of Sony and Nikon P&S cameras but this looks
interesting. I was wondering if anyone with hands-on experience with it
is reading the newsgroup. I'd especially be interested in thoughts from
someone who uses both a D-Lux and a DSLR.
Christmas Gift Suggestions14 Dec 2007 19:46 GMT27
I am stumped. My wife wants to get me a present in the $150 - $200 range and
has basically asked me to pick it out since she doesn't know what I want.
Most of the stuff I want is really more expensive than that, i.e., lenses.
But, there has to be something photographic that I ...

EOS 40D picture style question13 Dec 2007 17:25 GMT3
I noticed in my 40D user's manual that the sharpness parameter is a notch
higher in the landscape style than the standard style (which is where I
leave it set).  Am I losing some of the potential resolution with the
standard setting, or does landscape just apply a "sharpening" ...
[SI] My take ...12 Dec 2007 14:36 GMT5
Undecided (as always) about the subject matter, Autum is 9 months away here.
I decided on a neutral subject and then couldn't decide if the one I posted
was as good as the Mono version  did for sale!
Decission, decissions, decissions. I liked it better when I ony had to
