Whoever said you can't take a Nikon with you on a blind date?05 Jul 2007 00:12 GMT10
Was right!  I should have listened to them!  It was so humiliating getting

"GOOD DAY SONSHINE" :-)04 Jul 2007 17:01 GMT15
Night before yesterday (June 26th, but the sun was still up on a hot
hazy day between about 7 and 8 P.M.) I shot not so much of a sequel as
a son of/heir to "NEOTENY" and "I SHOT R.M."and my "FOREVER ELVIS"
shot (not on my website) whose tentative title is "SHOWDOWN". :-)
Nikon Exec busted for public intoxication!04 Jul 2007 15:09 GMT2
Oh my!  It had to happen sooner or later!  I just didn't think such a
high-ranking executive would be driven to the breaking point and go over the
edge.  Talk about crash and burn!  I only hope Nikon can recover from this
without too much shame and humiliation.

viewfinders?
Some like the Canon QL17 seem to have only 0.7x magnification.
Thanks,

lightning exposure?02 Jul 2007 20:08 GMT20
With the linghtning storms expected this afternoon, I'm going to try
to take some daytime pictures of lightning.  Does anyone have any
advice on exosure?  The lightning is visible during the day, so my
guess is that no special expsure is necessary, but last night I tried
