Thanks everyone for their input abt what lens thread these x2 lens are I have tried both T2 adapter - No Joy - won`t even thread on,seems as not large eneough to engage..the thread.. However on both lens the M42 adapter screws on immediatley,and turns no problem to abt halfway/two ...

Well thats whats buggung me! the threads on both my T2 & M42 adapyers are OK..as they screw onto both od their respective lenses (i have a couple of each) The x2 lens that are causinf me hassle ..have a HARD end cap,that screws on without problem..yes plastis is a bit more givving. ...

well its worth a try,when googled it all I ever got was M42= 1mm pitch or T2=0.75mm pitch.. your the first to give me another thread size... now only have to see if they make an adapter for eos

At least from a manufacturing and supple standpoint! To prevent supply and demand problems Apple has refused to release the iPhone till they had enough in stock (3-million units) to meet high customer demand. Now if Nikon and Canon would take the effort to follow this business ...

At least in the digital domain? I once predicted, as all the camera manufacturers brought out their 'bigger and better' devices every year, that we would all end up with 35mm film sized sensors.
