Keepers07 May 2007 14:21 GMT27
What I don't understand, is why many, or maybe even the
percentage of photographers might spend a morning or evening shooting a roll
or some part of it and are happy to get a few keepers to while away a few
nights in the darkroom; while digi-heads aren't content to shoot less than
The popularity of a crook (a bit off topic)07 May 2007 10:25 GMT58
Before D-Mac left, he created a web site dedicated to probably the
most stupid hacker ever to grace the planet. ANNIKA1980. Me and my dog
(Chloe) are watching the store while the Maca's are away.
I just did the housekeeping on their web sites and discovered this

Fav camera05 May 2007 19:39 GMT27
If you  had to take one film camera and ( max 2 lens) lens with you  what
would you take with you.
Particulary  if its in a hostile environment the chances are your camera may
get destroyed or stolen from you at some time during your trip.
President Bush Meets The Legendary Nikkor!05 May 2007 17:27 GMT2
It was a really strange day for me today.  I was invited to a press
conference and a bite to eat with President Bush.  I was apprehensive to go
at first because of my preconceived dislike for the man and everything he
stands for.  Well, I decided that I would go just for the sake of ...
Buying new SLR(film)35mm...advice05 May 2007 15:51 GMT10
I recently lost my Ricoh XR1S that I purchased new in 1977.  Before
that I lost my Kodak rangefinder(in Guatemala...actually it was kind
of stolen in a way).  I am in the market for a new or used 35mm film
camera.  I can't get my head around a digital camera yet.  There is a
B&W problems05 May 2007 05:06 GMT13
For reasons that I can't pin down, I'm struggling with b&w film
exposure.  I'm using mostly Ilford 400.  The results seem to come out
both overexposed on the bright end and underexposed on the dark end, if
that makes sense.

Print Pricing04 May 2007 00:44 GMT6
I was at a art/photography exhibit last week. One photographer had
approximately 30 prints on display. The prints were each framed in a plain
black metal frame, that was probably 20x30" with white mattes. The prints
themselves were likely 7x12" or fairly close to that. The ...
