It didn't take Bret Douglas long to return to bullying24 May 2007 16:18 GMT2
He just couldn't control himself. This is the post he made to
Aus.photo a short time ago after his pathetically transparent attempts
to bait Doug failed. I wouldn't be surprised if his latest lamer: to

YOUNG CHICKS DIG THE 20D !23 May 2007 14:07 GMT6
Even the young chicks love the 20D.  But it's hard to get good shots
of the young chicks since they always seem to have their mama around.

How to prepare for crappy weather.23 May 2007 06:46 GMT12
OK, so I'm checking the long-term forecasts for my trip to the Canadian
Rockies and all seem to agree that when its not just cloudy, it will be
raining. My destination is the Banff/Lake Louise area. Are there any
particular strategies or equipment that anyone can recommend for
Splashing Eagle Photo22 May 2007 18:20 GMT2
This month's (June '07) National Geographic magazine features

B&H fail the "packing test" - again22 May 2007 15:25 GMT43
A few years ago I wrote about B&H mispacking a new US$1,300 80-200 f/2.8
lens.
Now, they mispacked a Nikon glass film holder (US$230) (For a scanner).
The "Nikon Box" is quite small, about 1.25" thick, and the product is
Canon 1DMKIII Question22 May 2007 01:30 GMT7
Q.  At what aperture does the new 1DMKIII lose autofocus?
For example, my 20D (as well as the 5D, apparently) loses autofocus
past f/5.6, meaning that if you use the 400 f/5.6L with the 1.4x TC
you must manually focus (since the TC causes an effective focal length
BIRDS ON THE WING JUST LOVE THE 20D!21 May 2007 23:59 GMT38
Out one morning just wandering through the backwoods and all of a
sudden it came towards me, hunting, gliding. Surely this will make it
to Nat Geo?

Doug poofing the NG21 May 2007 17:11 GMT8
Doug's sanity challenged posts are pretty obvious regardless of the
"Sender" ID so I invite everyone to simply not reply to them regardless
of the provocation.  It is all quite meaningless and the never ending
sock puppets will only stop if they are ignored.

Nikon N60 HELP21 May 2007 09:39 GMT2
Just wondering what is wrong with this N60 , when looking through the view
finder everything is dark and blurry . Is this view finder electronically
focused and something is wrong ? I got this used at a pawn shop for a song
but I guess I must not know how to run it .

Nikon 6006 Frame Counter Does not clear when back is open20 May 2007 18:44 GMT1
I can see a small button that is pressed by the back when closed, but
opening the back or pressing the button does not clear the counter.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to repair this one?
