Minolta/Sony Alpha website relaunch01 Jun 2007 00:40 GMT1
It is now over a year since what used to be the Minolta Club of Great
Britain ceased to exist officially. We have survived, and published a
full year's worth of four magazine editions, without the former support
of Konica Minolta or new support from Sony.
Odditorium (SI) Review..31 May 2007 16:32 GMT32
I owed a review, so here goes..  I didn't even see this one

take out your revenge when I post an image in a later challenge!

Australian birds... Feed 'em and shoot 'em!31 May 2007 10:26 GMT10
I bought one of the very first "pro pack" 10D kits in Australia. The camera
has been a stellar performer. I had the mirror/shutter replaced a few
month's ago and it still amazes me with it's image quality. If I had to
choose between my 10D and 20D if I could only take one or the ...
Nikon falls out of the blue and into the black!31 May 2007 04:27 GMT4
It's been a busy day getting ready for tomorrow's party.  The pool is clean
and properly balanced, the wireless network is working at peak performance
ready to pipe tunes from the old dual Xeon SCSI based MP3 server, and most
of the food prep is done.  With all that going on I still ...

Photo for 30th May (Today in paradise)30 May 2007 18:42 GMT5
Mother came one night during a storm in 2003 and sat quietly in our lounge
room until it abated, then left.
She has been a regular morning visitor ever since. This is the first time
she came home and brought a baby with her!
Oh boo hoo, I'm Helen, and I only meant to help the group...30 May 2007 15:43 GMT47
You want to help the group?  Ask questions about photography and have
them answered.  Don't encourage people who want to have their ego
stroked with their digital images.  They're off topic, don't you see?
You want to look at people's pics, go to photobase, or shuttercity, or

Do you guys remember the name of Sigourney Weaver's cat in Alien?
How about Kim Novak's cat in, "Bell, Book & Candle"?
Can you think of any other, "famous" cats?

Canon's Mk III delivery date gets pushed back to June!28 May 2007 00:28 GMT12
OK!  What gives?  This was to be a May release and now they do this crap?  I
hope there aren't any manufacturing or quality control issues dogging this
camera.  Come on Canon get your act together.
