While I like my Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED, I have this persistent problem: a red "fog" sometimes is seen on one edge of a scan. Here are some particulars. Film is Kodak NC & UC.

| EOS-1D Mark III Why no 16mm sample images? | 09 Mar 2007 11:38 GMT | 11 |
After looking at the specs for this camera I'm very impressed and I think this is really going to be a winner for Canon. They show this body with the new 16-35/2.8L attached to it, but there are no sample images posted with anything wider than 35mm. I and many other people are ...

| 20D LOSES FOCUS (300 F/4L IS Update) | 09 Mar 2007 07:05 GMT | 30 |
My previous two tests of the 300 f/4L IS showed some peculiarities that warranted further investigation. Either the lens was very soft or else it wasn't focusing properly. So today I did a quickie test, this time with a brick wall at about a

| Vivitar Series One 90-180/4.5 K-mount lens | 07 Mar 2007 04:48 GMT | 3 |
I received my new Pentax K10D today. The main reason I got it is because I have some excellent manual focus lenses that I wanted to use on it. One of those is a Vivitar Series One 90-180/4.5 K-mount lens--an extraordinary lens. Unfortunately, there is a metal collar that ...
