| IN CASE YOU DOUBTED D-MAC'S SANITY .... | 14 Mar 2007 03:37 GMT | 19 |
Last night I sent D-Mac an e-mail telling him to lay off of my friend, Helen, and asking him why he continues to add new web pages to his site to slander me when he had previously agreed to remove them as part of our truce. Although I am not in the habit of posting private

Yeah, I know it's not a marketplace NG. At least I'm not selling. But in the off chance that someone, somewhere has this piece of sh.t, useless, crappy bokeh, camera bag ballast, I will consider taking it off your hands if it's in very good shape.

| Nikonos V Question on Series? | 14 Mar 2007 02:26 GMT | 10 |
Hopefully, someone can answer this question - I am looking at buying a Nikonos V camera and have been watching postings on Ebay to get an idea of what prices should look like. I noticed some of the posts mentioned "series 300" in their

| Ring Lite is being picky | 13 Mar 2007 16:04 GMT | 4 |
My Canon Ring Lite ML-3 doesn't want to work on my Canon 10D. It will power up and test fire and all that, but it won't flash. My regular Speedlite flash works fine. The ring lite also works fine on my Elan 7e. Any thoughts?

A long time to have discovered this but... I posted some decent and not so decent photos over the past couple of days to see who in this group reacted to what and figure out who the nasty bastards are. Only the bait photos got a response. Surprise, surprise,

| Replacement for film SLR | 13 Mar 2007 09:15 GMT | 44 |
Any thoughts on a lighter weight replacement for a film SLR. My Uncle's been using a Fujica SLR sine the 1970's. It still works fine (with one repair). However, he wants something smaller and lighter weight. Given that he never changes the lens (he got his second a few years ...

| Photoshop to fork into 2 programs | 12 Mar 2007 22:58 GMT | 26 |
Adobe has clearly decided that Photoshop CS3 is just too much program for one application and forked it into two different applications. We can only wonder at this point how much extra the "Extended" version is going to cost to keep abreast of multi-media photography needs.

| How big could I print this? | 12 Mar 2007 20:07 GMT | 20 |
Ok, I have someone who wishes to purchase a photo of mine to frame on his wall. He desires to have it printed as large as possible. I'm sure there is a limit of some kind, but he said as large as possible. Anyway, the image is from a 35mm slide (Kodachrome 64, I think, but I

| What was Sigma thinking? | 12 Mar 2007 15:33 GMT | 44 |
After letting the image of the new Sigma behemoth sink in, I just can't get past the question of why Sigma would produce a lens like this. Why not produce a 500 f/5.6 lens, one that would autofocus on most consumer DSLR's? How about a 400 f/4 that is cheaper than the DO Canon ...
