| Quicktime to flash? | 21 Mar 2007 10:03 GMT | 5 |
I've got a QuickTime movie (Panasonic FZ50) of this fellow: http://www.ryadia.com/flyer.htm I'd like to publish the thing in maybe 'flash' format. I used a converter called "Flash Video Studio" but the quality at 'BEST' setting is pretty bad.

| 20D: SO GOOD, IT'S CRIMINAL ! | 20 Mar 2007 21:35 GMT | 306 |
I'm bored this afternoon so I go over to the dam to try to get some pics of the herons flying (they were very uncooperative). I'm also shooting a few ducks, some cardinals, and the lone falcon that lives there. The light is terrible, it's about to rain, but hey ... I love

| ANNI RE-TESTS THE 300 F/4L IS! | 20 Mar 2007 21:12 GMT | 25 |
Not happy with the findings of my previous test, I did another test today under more controlled conditions. All shots were tripod mounted using mirror lockup and a remote shutter release cable. Focusing was AF and was monitored using my Canon Right Angle "C" 2x viewfinder.

And before you start... It is focused! the web pic is a little soft but I'm sure all you pundits will just accept that as a feature of my work, now and for the foreseeable future! http://www.ryadia.com/Bush-fence.htm

| Demise of Kodachrome 200? | 20 Mar 2007 01:52 GMT | 104 |
I read that Kodachrome 200 has been effectively discontinued, but that Kodak isn't making any official announcements. Is this rumour, or pretty much known fact? If it's true, and 64 is the only version left, what would be the

| A TOTALLY DIGITAL CONVERSATION ! | 20 Mar 2007 00:23 GMT | 42 |
I was on AOL tonight and noticed a name from the past in my online Buddy List (and no, it wasn't D-Mac). One of the things I always liked about AOL was that you could make a Buddy List and it would tell you which of your buddies are currently online.

| 20D IN DEEP TROUBLE ! | 18 Mar 2007 16:47 GMT | 1 |
No, this isn't about D-Mac's lunatic ravings, EBAY scams, or phony web galleries. Just a few more shots from today's lunch hour. (It was a bad day to go to the aquarium. Can you say "Spring Break?")

| Why we will never see anymore legendary lenses from Nikon! | 18 Mar 2007 13:22 GMT | 3 |
It's called Eco-Glass and is why Nikon will no longer produce lenses with such legendary optical quality as the 58/1.2 Noct and 28/1.4. It seems lead and arsenic is needed to process this spectacular glass. Looks like us Nikon shooters are going to be stuck in DX hell. At least ...
