ANNI'S #1 FOOTBALL TIP !05 Feb 2007 13:23 GMT3
1.  If you are playing for a football Championship, DO NOT, under any
circumstances, run the opening kick back for a TD!

Chimping reaches epic and epidemic proportions!05 Feb 2007 08:35 GMT17
Yes, it was a sight to see this morning during a news briefing at the
Pentagon.  Most of the PJs there were chimping like they just fell of a
truck carrying 20,000 pounds of bananas.  I'm not sure why this was
happening, but it was funny as hell and I shook my head in disbelief.  ...

Remember?  You wrote this:

One of the rare species Amur Tiger has a glimpse of Indian Bengal Tiger.04 Feb 2007 16:04 GMT1
In the 1940s the Amur tiger was on the brink of extinction, with no
more than 40 tigers remaining in the wild. Thanks to vigorous anti-
poaching and other conservation efforts by the Russians with support
from many partners, including WWF, the Amur tiger population recovered

The editor of Lenswork magazine, Brooks Jensen, has a lot of
interesting podcasts on his site.
I found this one particularly entertaining:

Dedicated to Bret Douglas AKA Annika1980. Why anyone would want to call
themselves by an encounter with a golf pro is beyond me.

Recs for CHEAP wide-angle for Nikon AI/AIS camera?02 Feb 2007 16:52 GMT13
I have an old Nikon FG-20, ca. 1982 manual 35mm camera that I've
recently taken a shine to, nice and light, works great with some old
B&W film I found. I presently have a 50mm f/1.8E and a cheap Quantaray
70-210 f/3.5-4.5 that came with the camera; they both work ok, but I

Jump at EOS 5D or wait?02 Feb 2007 07:06 GMT75
Regarding the current and enticing Canon rebates, does it make sense to get
a 5D now ($600 off with another item purchased) or wait until later in the
year for either another round of rebates or a successor to the 5D.  It
rarely seems to be a clear win-win with these deals.  The ...
