The light meter's manual mentions that it could be "permanently damaged" if left in a -20 C or colder environment. I accidently left mine in my car when the temp was -30. Why would this damage he meter, and what damage may I look forward to?

I bought this lens awhile ago and was able to get it into macro mode, but i let is sit for a couple of years and i am now pulling my hair out because i cant remember how to get it back to macro mode. So could someone please give me some pointers on this?

Newbie question: I have close to a hundred film rolls that I would like to scan with the Minolta Dimage Dual IV so I need to cut them in stripes of 6. The problem is the film is curled and I'm not sure what's the best way

The autofocus on my Nikon D50 just stopped working a few months ago. Yesterday I think somebody might of pointed out the problem to me. When you turn the lens to zoom in/out, the lens 'sticks' at the 35 marker, and it takes quite a bit of force to make the zoom turn past that mark ...
