| Have you ever purposely used vignetting to your advantage? | 26 Oct 2006 02:48 GMT | 2 |
Was playing around and put three filters on my 20-35mm, set it at 20mm, and did a couple shots trying to get something like a keyhole effect. The film is in being developed, but I'm curious if it'll end up looking like what I imagine.

| Question About Film Scanning Resolution | 23 Oct 2006 05:11 GMT | 31 |
I recently purchased a film scanner (Pacific Image PF3650Pro3) which has a maximum "Optical Resolution" of 3600 ppi. When I scan at that resolution I end up with image files whose property sheets say that they are 5148 x 3420. I would like to know how it is that I

| Value (and values) 35mm | 21 Oct 2006 23:31 GMT | 92 |
A few days ago I wandered into the local Salvation Army store looking for some cheap jeans to wear while doing yard work. I happened to see an 35mm SLR in the counter case and asked to see it. Turns out it was a Chinon CM-7 with a SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1.7 lens mounted. I ...

I'm interested in getting an L bracket for my Canon 10D. I've seen the one from Really Right Stuff, and another maker whose names escapes me at the moment, but I have two concerns... The first is price... it's not like these are precision Space Shuttle
