I was wondering if there are any large and comprehensive tables of values for aperature, exposure time, film speed, lens type, and resultant depth of field and focal range? I went to the library, and there were a few, but they far from completely comprehensive about

Hi, can anyone here help me out, I need 7 35MM slides scanned or printed. Which is my best option? Jessop's do an instore service, dose anyone know how good this is? Any advice, would be great, or maybe if you could do this job, I'd be happy

When I read all the promotional material on the Carl Zeiss web site about their introduction of a new line of lenses in Nikon mount, I could hardly wait to get my hands on their upcoming lenses in the M42 Pentax Screwmount (I still shoot in M42).

Im considering getting my old x300 out again as, like many people i know, I dont want to shell out on a digital SLR as I dont think they are good enough yet, and the results that I get from my digital camera doesnt compare to an SLR.

The question of IS/VR usefulness still seems to come up a lot. -Especially questions about why anyone would care to have IS at wide angle. Here's an example of a room that was VERY dimly lit (despite the brighter look due to purposeful exposure). This is hand-held at 24mm ...
