| what lens for elan7? | 07 Sep 2006 09:27 GMT | 6 |
Hi, I picked up a used Elan7 on ebay for $100. Good deal? The seller had a 100% positive rating and hundreds of transactions. Now, what lens? I've searched this group and see that I should get either a 28-105mm or a 50mm. I would be happy with the latter. I had

| digital controls similar to 35mm? | 04 Sep 2006 14:52 GMT | 4 |
I'm fairly decided on getting a 35mm camera and traditional slide projector. I'm still fairly unsteady with my knowledge of manual controls. My digital camera has them, too, though I have not used them.

Got handed a 30D today and was told to go take photos with it - can't complain about that. It was great to be able to get out and use a camera for the first time in weeks - and a high end camera at that, and actually get paid for the privilege!
