HELP with Nikon F90X/N90s04 Jun 2006 07:55 GMT26
I need the help of the pros, so I thought of this newsgroup first.  My
friend just bought me a Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 lens.  It is
SPECTACULAR!!  I am confused about a couple of things.  The first being
the focusing limit switch.  What does it mean by Full and Limit?  The
Digital images viewed on the net compared to what you can expect to see when they are printed04 Jun 2006 00:15 GMT1
First the digital stuff:
I was wondering if the images that come from the digital source, posted
on the web, are the way they will look when they are printed?  In other
words, are the photos seen posted on Pbase and other various photo

Silly question about my Canon RebelG03 Jun 2006 18:13 GMT1
I'm about to sell mine on Ebay but the closest camera they have in the
selling template is a Canon EOS RebelG QD. I don't have my original box
or manual. What does QD mean? and how do I know if mine is a QD?
Thanks in Advance
Voigtlander Prominent03 Jun 2006 09:08 GMT4
I picked up a Voigtlander Prominent with Nokton 50mm f/1.5 lens at the
local flea market Saturday.
Overall it was a pretty easy camera to figure out except for one
thing.

whales on 35mm film with a borrowed EOS 3000 camera and Sigma "Super Zoom"
lens. I got a lot of tails too! I also got a lot pics of really curious and
friendly whales. They come up to the boat, bumping it ...

[SI] Shoot-In "Unseen" Comments from Mardon01 Jun 2006 11:51 GMT7
I can count two ways of interpreting "The Unseen" mandate: (1) the
unseen thing is in the fame but hard to notice unless you know it's
there, or (2) the unseen thing is not in the frame itself but is
still the main influence over what is in the frame.  Al seems to
wide angle for nikon01 Jun 2006 06:09 GMT3
Has anyone here used both the 20mm Nikon 2.8 and the 20mm Sigma 1.8?
I'd be keen to hear your opinions. I've been thinking about getting a
wide angle lens and these two seem to be within my budget. I don't
shoot a whole lot of photos, but most of what I take are landscapes. I
