No photography for me for a while :-(09 Jun 2006 08:06 GMT15
As a result of a little bit of lunacy, and acting like a kid 20 years
younger, i succumbed to gravity, had an argument with planet earth, and
it won. I now have a fibreglass cast on my right arm while one of the
bones in my fore-arm heals.
Sad day in "Canonville"09 Jun 2006 03:20 GMT2
Yup, I'm still using Canon FD cameras - too much good
glass to give them up. I brought a Canon T90 to my
grandson's baseball game, had it on the ground under my
chair, and it was hit (lightly) by a rolling foul ball.
new camera ideas08 Jun 2006 14:14 GMT10
My wife shoots with a Canon AE1 and a similarly aged
zoom. There is nothing really wrong with this set up
but the lens is a bit big and she frequently has trouble
with difficult lighting conditions such as back light.

I'm trying to plan a trip to San Francisco around the end of June.
Anyone have recommendations on things/places to look at and
things/places to avoid?
Thanks,

Well sports fans, finally a beautiful Saturday here in Tennessee
without the 90-degree temperatures and the 90% humidity we've been
having.  I went to my usual haunt this morning and it was a pretty slow
day animal-wise.  I did manage to capture a few decent ones, however,

I think perhaps it needs to be cropped square.
LTM to M adaptor - focussing?07 Jun 2006 15:17 GMT5
I am interested in finding out how the M rangefinder would handle
focussing if a thread mount lens is used by means of an adaptor?
I received my much anticipated Leica Summaron lens on Wednesday, but
unfortunately it cannot be repaired to 100%. The front element is

I have a Canon telephoto lens 28:135 with macro and some filters for it and I
would like to use it on my Rolleifles SL35 E. Are there any adaptors for that?

Pentax P3005 Jun 2006 17:54 GMT24
I wish to exchange my old Pentax P30T with a fully manual one (MX or
KX).
According to you, is the change fair or I need to add some money?
Thanks

Quick questions about Nikkormat EL204 Jun 2006 18:12 GMT6
I got an EL2 on ebay. But there are something that puzzle me.
1) The mirror-lockup level doesn't lift the mirror.
2) After manually flipping the mirror, the mirror stays
in the horizontal position and doesn't flip back.
