| Publishing a book of photographs | 20 Jun 2006 07:02 GMT | 8 |
I'm sure this may have been covered in the past, but I can't recall anything recent, so if you can indulge me, I would be very interested in hearing input from people who know a bit about this subject. If you have a fairly good collection of images that you would like to

| help with Minolta X-700 problem | 20 Jun 2006 00:13 GMT | 5 |
I have a Minlota X-700 camera that just gave me a problem: it won't wind and, as a result, won't snap a picture. I replaced the battery and the same thing is occurring. When I look through the viewfinder, I see a flashing red arrow at the bottom and it's pointing towards a flashing

| What next when the hyperfocal is wrong? | 19 Jun 2006 23:53 GMT | 107 |

| The Big 8 Management Board | 19 Jun 2006 23:02 GMT | 77 |
They are a self-appointed, self-serving cabal. They created a racist group for neo-nazis in the Big 8 and they might create a second one for the Aryan Nation. They created the neo-nazi group by fiat.

My original posting has now veered off into several other areas so I thought it would be easier to discuss one of them in a new thread. This has to do with the "look" of digital vs film. Here's a little story about how the more things

After using the new Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR for almost two weeks and pitting it against the tried and true classic Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D I came to the following conclusions. For me, I like both equally well and would never part with either one.

Jim Kramer - barbed wire http://www.pbase.com/shootin/image/61706318 To me this is a peaceful country scene because of the soft greens and signs of nature in the spider webs. It is a nice shot, DOF used

I finally booked this years vacation flights and I'm surprised that the prices for flights are quite reasonable. (I didn't even try to trade points in). We'll be renting a car after we land at Denver, thence two weeks of

| Erwin Puts On Modern Kit Lenses | 18 Jun 2006 21:04 GMT | 18 |
"It is not only a philosophical issue to reflect on the question whether the level of quality consciousness has been lowered during the last twenty years. Even a simple $100+ bread and butter lens as the EF 28-105mm or the current so-called kit lenses that are offered for a price ...

| E-85 is a good thing | 17 Jun 2006 21:28 GMT | 15 |
It's a good thing and I am for it. Older engines rebuilt for it will run cooler and longer. And corn prices will be stabilized.
