[SI] Shoot-In: Ken's not gonna like it...24 Jun 2006 04:28 GMT1
       Hello gang,
Once again, the time is upon us to turn to the heavens and beseech
them, "Yo, heavens, what do you want us to shoot this time?"
       And the heavens respond,
Flare or CA on the 105mm VR23 Jun 2006 23:32 GMT4
Check out the frog's right eye.  I'm not sure if this if some byproduct of
the frog's eye or if it's flare or CA from the 105VR/TC combo.

Thanks to you all for the leads.  I've printed them and have some places to

Digital is Dumb - Part 323 Jun 2006 14:09 GMT19
The other to threads are going in the same direction so let's go another way
here.
The obvious troll line is unfortunate.
There are a great many of us who use both film and digital methods. There

OUT TO LUNCH WITH THE 20D !22 Jun 2006 06:34 GMT20
Well sports fans, it was back to work as usual today after a one week
vacation in South Carolina, if you can call that a vacation (look for
my vacation pics later this week).
Anyways, I managed to squeeze off a few during my lunch break:

Canon Elph LT manual needed21 Jun 2006 20:03 GMT3
I picked up a Canon Elph LT camera (advantix film) at a garage sale. I am in
need of a manual for it or copies of one. Anyone out there have one?
It does not seem to shut off, in that I mean the date keeps blinking even
when it is closed and I was wondering if it is broken or if ...
Another Day Another Camera21 Jun 2006 19:29 GMT33
Yes, faithful friends, and the kooks and loons, too, last weekend on my (at
least) annual trip to Chicago, I decided to do more than just browse Central
Camera, I decided to buy a camera!  No, it's not digital, in fact, it's not
even 35mm (apologies for the OT post)--it's ...
IS lenses on APS cameras?21 Jun 2006 11:36 GMT11
I'm lying in wait for when full frame sensors become predominant in the
digital marketplace and many of these digital specific lenses, in particular
the pricey IS models, will become obsolete and cheap on eBay.  I assume
nearly all of them will cover APS.  Will the Canon IS ...
Nikon F2 w/ MD-2/MB-1  Not Firing21 Jun 2006 07:11 GMT1
OK - I put the 10 batteries in the MB-1 and both of the red checklights
glow. I set the MD-2 setting to "C", shutter speed to 250 and the
firing rate to M2 - But when I press the trigger button (on the MD-2)
nothing happens.
Album software - simple and easy.21 Jun 2006 02:37 GMT1
No, not a commercial ad. I just thought after using this software and
being very pleased with it, someone else here might find it useful too.
It doesn't need installing on a web server, just put the album files in
one directory and it works. Couldn't be simpler. It's free BTW.
