Canon has recently released these both lenses: EF 24-105mm f/4L IS and the EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS They both come with a similar price tag, despite the fact that the 17-55 S is not designated as a L class

A couple months ago, I got my 70-200 f2.8L IS. A couple weeks ago, far sooner than I had originally planned, I went ahead and purchased a 24-105 f4L IS. Now I just need a 16-35 f2.8L or a 17-40 f4L to complete my "Ideal 3".

I want to by a reversal ring for my camera to inverse a lens for macro work, and I found a ring with the appropriate mount for my cameera, but it says; "Bayonet to Series VII." Please someone tell me what diameter is series 7. I need it my bayonet
