Slide cleaning advice please25 Feb 2006 19:05 GMT4
Recently I've started scanning some of my old slides, and I've noticed that
some of them are quite dirty.  What is the best and safest way to clean
them?  I think Edwal makes a cleaning solution - does anyone know exactly
what it's called?
Help with Nikon lens please25 Feb 2006 18:45 GMT47
I would like some recomendations on a lens for my F90X Nikon. I need to
shoot detailed views of small machine parts, documents (book pages) and
paintings. Ideally one single lens would do these tasks but shopping in
a camera store is like asking a gypsy for a house builder.

Is film dead?23 Feb 2006 22:27 GMT54
Just take a look at the number of film cameras being sold on ebay not
to mention camera shops around the country.
That should answer the question.

Nikon D200 Not Available Anywhere22 Feb 2006 04:25 GMT23
The inventory for this body is non-existant. Is this do to demand or
has Nikon stopped manufacturing because of a quality problem? Do any
D200 users out there have any problems with your bodies ( the D200, not
your personal issues, geeezzz, you got to be precise on this site)?
Gear story22 Feb 2006 03:51 GMT12
I was at a trade show for the better part of last week in sunny Florida
(very nice on Thur/Fri in the upper 20's (Centigrade) and even over 30C
yesterday pm.  Returned to -17C at home and 40 - 60 km/hr winds last night).
Anyway, as I was walking around the trade show at one point ...
