There have been many rumours from different sources that got info from Japan or those that would know- that all say there may be a new EF 50mm f1.2L coming this spring. Has anyone actually heard any news in regard to this? I know we won't know for sure until February.

Just bought a second-hand Minolta Dynax 9 body, and I would like to know if anyone has had any problems with it in hot and humid conditions. I am going to Gabon this summer for a month, and I am pondering whether or not to sell my other body (Minolta 800Si).

I'm looking for a decent, shirt-pocket sized P&S that runs on AAs. Two or three megapixels is sufficient and the ability to do short QT videos would be nice. I have a CoolPix 990, and it's the right size in picture quality but it's too big to have on me all the time.
