digital printing from 35mm04 Dec 2005 14:07 GMT16
I have just bought a 35mm film scanner (4000dpi), as I wanted to use 35mm
and do my own processing (b&w + colour), but can't currently set up a
darkroom for printing. Scanning seems a good way to assess and maybe output,
both new negs and those in storage from years gone by.
Nikkor 70-200 VR Ka-Thunk03 Dec 2005 13:21 GMT14
Folks, I have a 70-200 VR zoom mounted on my D70.  It usually grabs good
images, however I've noticed that it makes a "ka-thunk" noise and seems to
shift suddenly for no apparent reason when the VR is on.  Has anybody else

or else getting a 17-40 and selling the 28.

there appears to be no corporate presence for the company in Africa.
I have just added a forum to the website which I invite all Leica
Steve Kramer and his Testimonials02 Dec 2005 17:42 GMT6
Most of the posters on this group probably know by now that Steve 'Kombat'
Kramer is a spammer, always on the lookout to 'promote' himself and his
business. And you probably know that being a conceited little man with an
*enormous* ego, he also loves to blow his horn!
Nikon books01 Dec 2005 13:37 GMT5
My son has a Nikon N8008S which he uses with an original  28-85mm lens.
Last year after receiving much helpful advice and information on this
group, I bought him a used SB24 flash to use with his camera. The unit
came with an original Nikon owners manual and I assumed that he was ...
