Nikon F2S Photomic & Motor Drive17 Nov 2005 21:44 GMT3
I have a F2S that has been in storage for decades! My question is, how do I
find a value for the equipment? It takes awesome pictures and never has been
touched by a technician!

Do I need a thin polarizer for a Minolta 17-35mm lens?17 Nov 2005 17:34 GMT27
I'm thinking of buying a Minolta 17-35mm f/2.8-4 (77mm filter) wide angle
zoom lens for my Maxxum 7. I've already had vignetting problems using a
standard circular polarizer with my Minolta 24-105mm zoom and would like to
avoid this problem.
A few shots from England17 Nov 2005 04:14 GMT14
As I said once before, the camera I concentrated most of my shooting on
while in England this summer failed without warning, consequently, many of
the shots I had the highest hopes for were not recorded at all.  Still, I've
added four (taken with a Mamiya 6 and F3HP) to my ...
CR123A lithium Battery shelf life question17 Nov 2005 01:22 GMT9
A couple of years ago I bought several 123 batteries and never used them.
Now I find that some of them have developed high internal resistance. My
camera, an Olympus Stylus, will show either low battery or not turn on at
all.
Color print film for B/W conversion?17 Nov 2005 01:07 GMT14
Any recommendations?  I've been shooting XP2 super for B/W prints but am
considering using a color print film instead.  I actually want a little
grain in my shots for BW conversion.  I use a Nikon Coolscan film scanner
and Photoshop so I can use the color information and channels ...
'Test review of D200' by Ken Rockwell16 Nov 2005 23:16 GMT56
How on earth does Ken Rockwell's 'test review' of the D200 get to first
place on google?  I thought google worked by counting the number of
cross-referenced links to the web page to calculate it's page rank rating,
and not the number of opinionated sentences per page.
light leak on OM 216 Nov 2005 21:38 GMT9
I have an Olympus OM 2 which has served me well for more than 25 years, but
during that time it has taken some hard knocks but still managed to provide
me with good pictures.
However, in the last few outings I have had a problem with a light leak,

My new mortuary15 Nov 2005 21:06 GMT5
So, okay, I've read about the death of film all over this newsgroup,
and it must be so because the internet never lies, y'know...
...but despite this, I seem to be pretty fired up about finally
getting together almost all of the things I need for my darkroom, and
One class of applications where film is a necessity15 Nov 2005 20:52 GMT22
Whenever images that cannot be (easily) altered are necessary
(for legal or security reasons for example), only film is
acceptable. So dont worry, film will never disappear.
Canon EOS Rebel Ti (300V) v EOS Elan( IOO)15 Nov 2005 17:38 GMT4
I have a Canon EOS Elan(100)which is a very well built and (for it's
time)well specified camera, with a good reputation.
I like the look of the EOS Ti(100) which, for what appearances are
worth, is an extremely attractive looking camera with an excellent and

unconstructive variety is usually good for a laugh or two.
