Challenge for Nikon and Canon shooters22 Nov 2005 02:34 GMT32
One of my fellow students needs a 35mm film camera. He wants one whose
lenses are forward compatible with a DSLR at some point.
So, here's the challenge:
1. State the brand and model you currently shoot with.

Questions about Nikon N70/F70.21 Nov 2005 17:10 GMT9
I always had an interest of photography but just like many more, never
really got the chance to exercise that to the extent that I would love
to. Now very recently I have received a surprise gift from a surprise
person - an almost new Nikon N/F 70 camera (he shot less than 10
Epson R-D121 Nov 2005 06:00 GMT7
I have been testing out this camera over the past few days and I am
amazed at the quality of the sensor. When you shoot it at 1600 the
"noise" looks exactly like film grain! Amazing! Will post examples and a
full review in about a week or so.
Nikon TC20 teleconverter cap jammed20 Nov 2005 23:51 GMT8
The second cap on my Nikon TC20 teleconverter is jammed on. Not the
normal fat black lens-back cap but the other one that's gray & flatter.
It twists counterclockwise to loosen but won't come off fully. It ought
to unscrew clockwise to remove according to the arrow on it. When
Interpolation - finally an example in perspective20 Nov 2005 20:38 GMT16
By using a known sized object in front of my pictures, I think I've
managed to get the whole thing into proper perspective.
Recently Tony Polson suggested I made false claims about the
enlargements I do from snapshots, digital image files and negatives.
Difference between hard and soft ND filters?20 Nov 2005 19:39 GMT4
Yeah, I'm sure this has been asked about a zillion times already, but
what's the difference between the hard and soft NDs?  I'm going to
pick up a 3-stop grad ND shortly, and noticed that Singh-Ray has both
"hard" and "soft" types.  ????

[SI] New Mandate - From the Back19 Nov 2005 12:27 GMT1
The front is usually the most photogenic part of any subject, so my
mandate is 'From the Back'.
That's where you're to take the photo.

Will Zeiss make a digital M?18 Nov 2005 20:37 GMT3
I have been pondering this for a couple of days now. They appear to have
all the financial backing and technical insights which might propel them
ahead of Leica in the race for a digital M (not counting the R-D1).
As far as a digital M goes, I wonder if they, or Leica will be ...
Comparison of film-processors18 Nov 2005 14:34 GMT19
For development of 35 mm film, which generally produces more
satisfactory results: (1) Wal-Mart's "Fuji Premium Plus" developing

Touch" developing (not the in-store, but the send-away)?    I'm getting
