Connecting two Canon 220EX's?01 Nov 2005 00:35 GMT4
I'm considering using two of these units for close-ups.  I have the
off-camera cord #2 for the first flash, how do you connect the other?
The other option is a 580 as the main and a 420 or 430 as the slave.
Challenge there is size and weight.
EOS 3 underexposure01 Nov 2005 00:00 GMT16
I just received exposure check images of my vintage EOS 3 body, and it
really seems to be underexposing by 2/3 stop.
The body is fairly old and has never been cleaned.  Would you suggest a CLA
or just set the ISO down to 32?

My Wife and I are avid film shooters, she only a year and me since 1982 when
I bought my 1st Canon AE1 at the age of 12.
Now we have a fair collection of older Canon's and use mainly F1's ,A1's,

Cable release for Canon Rebel K2 non-date model31 Oct 2005 17:31 GMT2
Does anyone know how I can rig up a makeshift cable release for the K2 non-date?  When I bought it, I was not aware of the difference between the two models extending beyond the date function (this is really retarded on Canon's part, I think).  If anyone knows how I could make ...

Nikon 200-400mm f/4G VR 31 Oct 2005 05:52 GMT20
I'm considering buying this lens, however am very hesitant as it is a zoom.
I would like to hear from somebody who has compared this lens at 400mm to
say, a 400 2.8 or other fixed focal length.
Thanks much.

Another bargain coming my way...31 Oct 2005 00:35 GMT19
I was just in a local store dropping off my D70 to get a CLA (frikking
dust) and saw a Nikon F3HP on the shelf, with MD-4 motor drive. Very
good condition, but not something I would be looking to buy now that I
am saving for Project NYC 2006.

Steve Kramer the BRAGGART29 Oct 2005 19:34 GMT10
Most of the posters on this group probably know by now that Steve Kramer is
a spammer, always on the lookout to promote himself and his business. And
you probably know that being a conceited little man with an *enormous* ego,
he also loves to blow his own trumpet!
