I got the MF bug a couple of years ago, and finally won an eBay auction

A small child fascinated by a laser lighting system at a party.  Sorry
about the messy background, couldn't do anything about that.  300D, 1/5

My Nikon F4 seems to have bit the dust($900. for repairs). I have the Option
of a used F5 for 1000. or a F100 for 1200. Which would be the better choice
as both are in excellant condition?

I can see you were trying to capture the foggy night effect.  Forget
your tripod?  That's the only thing I can use to explain the 1/200th at
f/1.4.

...and I did take 1,100 photos over the weekend.
And dammit, not one of them is out of focus.
Well, two or three are out of focus, but not in an artistic way.
Stupid wide angle lenses set to hyperfocal distance...

Now that the dust has settled, time for a few comments.  First off, as a
mandate goes, should have posed no problem for anyone.  But it did for
some, as my comments will state below.

I apologize in advance for those who detest great artistry such as this,
