CANON EF 75-300MM F/4-5.6 IS USM - for action?27 Aug 2005 23:35 GMT9
How much benefit would the Canon EF 75-300mm F/4-5.6 IS USM be for Friday
night high school football games from the stands?  I don't have any IS
lenses at all, and wonder if one of these would work well.  I can't afford a
really fast lens, and tripods and monopods aren't really ...
Nikkor teleconverters with Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF zoom27 Aug 2005 16:48 GMT1
I love my Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF zoom
(http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=5&productNr=1986) that I
picked up second-hand a few years ago.

Slide scanning - scan to print resolution or best possible?27 Aug 2005 15:36 GMT6
This may be perceived as a stupid question but I use an on-line photo
printing service whose equipment prints at a set 300dpi (I assume this is

Boston.
Could you guys recommend few camera stores in Boston?

step down from my Elan as it developed a sticky shutter, and I just
moved, so my hand-held lightmeter has vanished.
Currently I'm metering in P then moving to M and setting the exposure

Wireless multiple flash using SB-800 & SB-80DX26 Aug 2005 09:54 GMT1
I have 2 flash guns – SB-800 & SB-80DX – that I want to do wireless
multiple flash with. I have a problem in controlling the remote flash,
and wonder what’s people’s experience on this.
I use the SB-800 as the master on my D2X and the 80DX as the remote
