| Canon Rebel differences | 31 Aug 2005 23:30 GMT | 1 |
Haven't paid much attention to the low end of the Canon SLR line lately. A friend asked me a question, so I did a little looking and noticed the Rebel ti has apparently been replaced by the T2, but now there's also a K2. Other than the K2 being a little cheaper, what are the ...

It's that time again... Here are my comments, as usual, no offence to anyone! I'm not a pro photographer, but I have had a camera of some kind since the 50s, and did work in visual aids for Mc Gill University Post Graduate Board/Royal Victoria Hospital for a while, and have a (now ...

Ok, I have a Canon Rebel TI SLR with a 28-90 lens which recently kicked the bucket. I was searching for a new 28-90 lens, possibly upgrading to a 28-105 lens. This is what I found: 28-90mm

| Minolta IR-1 question | 30 Aug 2005 23:49 GMT | 5 |
The receiver for the Minolta IR-1 remote set has what appears to be a battery test button. It is marked B.C. Is that what it is, and what is it supposed to do? The set works perfectly on all three channels, but I'm unsure about that button.

Hi, I am going to Buenos Aires, with a particular interest in candid street photography. I have a canonet ql g 111, which is ideal...but I find it hard to focus. I have a yaschica t4..but there is a shutter delay for candids. I'm, considering getting a minilux, or hexar af..or

| focal point assessment on 20D | 30 Aug 2005 14:46 GMT | 6 |
on my 300D the focal point chosen was recorded. On the 20D either it isn't available or it is a custom function. also my version of file viewer and digital photo professional don't reveal my focal point. This is awkward as i have out of focus pictures and i can't diagnose the ...

| Newer cameras that can be made compatable with MD lenses? | 29 Aug 2005 18:58 GMT | 6 |
I have been actively shooting with an XG-7 and 4 MD lenses, all purchased in 1979 and 1980. The shutter failed on the XG-7, so I have been researching alternative options.

| Canon MTF charts, meaning of blue-gray? | 29 Aug 2005 18:08 GMT | 6 |
In Canon's MTF charts, what do the blue, black and gray lines indicate? I have no experience reading them, but kinda understand Photodo. Presumably solid lines show saggital MTF and dotted lines show tangential. Thanks in advance.
