| I want to ask you the most important question of your life. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die? The reason some people don't know for sure if they are going to Heaven when they die is because they just don't know. The good news is that you can know for sure you are going to Heaven. May 24, 2005 11:17:25 am | 12 Jun 2005 04:10 GMT | 6 |

| Olympus OM-1n problems | 11 Jun 2005 16:43 GMT | 6 |
First of all, let me apologize in advance if this is the wrong newsgroup in which to post this sort of question. I've been lurking for a while and haven't seen many Olympus or maintenance posts, so if I should be asking elsewhere please let me know. Having said that here's the ...

| Sigma 18-50/2.8 | 11 Jun 2005 06:19 GMT | 6 |
Are there owners of 18-50/2.8? What's the experience, opinions? I've made a few shots in the store, and my 300D kit zoom outperformed Sigma. Sharpness in the center is virtually equal or better with kit. Even at f/5.6 @ 50mm corner sharpness of Sigma is worse :-( while Sigma is ...

| Interesting Website | 10 Jun 2005 23:57 GMT | 6 |
http://www.olegnovikov.com/index.shtml Kind of like the Eastern equivalent of Ken Rockwell's site. Mostly Nikon based, some over saturating, but some gorgeous photos, too. Opinions, good links, just more sensible than dear Ken.

| Please Help Me ID This Vivitar Flash | 09 Jun 2005 23:39 GMT | 8 |
Like all the best photo equipment, this flash gun came from the thrift store. It has 'use Vivitar SB-4 power supply only' stamped into it, which is how I deduced it's a Vivitar. The name plate on the front is missing. It looks a lot like the Vivitar 283, but without the sensor

I assume that there is a reason why some Pro negative films are 160 ISO. Will somebody enlighten me as to why the odd number and not 100 or 200 ISO.
