I am thinking about buying a Nikon CoolScan V ED Film Scanner to digitize my vast 35mm neg collection. Has anyone here used the following combination: Nikon CoolScan V ED, PowerMac G5, OS X 10.3 Panther, & Photoshop 7? If so, I would love to hear your comments

I just checked the light readings on an overcast day with everything on auto comparing the 2 lenses I was planning to take on my trip to Scotland. The Tamron 24-135 3.5-5.6 gave readings of 1/15-1/20 at f3.5 and 24mm & 200 ISO film. The Tamron 70-300 4.0-5.6 gave readings at

I received a D60 without an eyepiece. I'd like the regular one, but I see lots of extender eyepieces out there like the EP-EX15. Are these more convenient or anything? I shoot with glasses sometimes, but usually with contacts.

I have just seen on a web site that exposed but unprocessed film is a phohibited item when entering China. Does this apply to entering Hong Kong, or only to the rest of China? Does this apply to film exposed in Hong Kong when entering the rest of Chibna?

I'm new to photography and am learning on an old Olympus OM10. One thing I haven't been able to find out is what the unmarked settings on the film speed dial actually are. Does anyone know? I.e.: the numbers go: 25 . . 50 . . 100 . . 200 . . 400 . . 800 . .
