My two favorite focal lengths are 28mm and 50mm. Canon does not offer an L series lens in either focal length. Canon did offer a 50/1L (which has since been discontinued), but never a 28/1.4(?)L. I find it amazing that these two widely used focal lengths are not represented

I have a Vivitar 300mm telephoto lens, got it at a garage sale ...... Number on it is : 37002398, can anyone figure out for which body/brand type is this ? I was hoping it would fir my Canon FA, bit it is not meant to be

I saw dust in my lense. Will it affect picture quality? I can not tell buy looking through the view finder. Where can I get it clean? Does anyone know the cost? It is Canon 28-135 USM IS lense.
