What lens work with Nikon N80 AF-G system?10 Apr 2005 12:00 GMT3
I'm looking into purchasing a replacement for the 28-80mm lens that
comes with the Nikon N80 kit; I fell and damaged the lens. There are a
couple around the $150-$200 price point that are a bit faster (f2.8 to
f3.8) made by various manufacturers (I recall one is Vivitar). They all
STUPID EBAY BIDDERS !!!10 Apr 2005 03:57 GMT36
I finally found someone auctioning off a Canon 65mm MP-E macro lens on
EBAY this week.  I've been Jonesing for that lens for a long time and
it was just a matter of time before I broke down and took the plunge.
The Ebay auction seemed timely.

Nikon lens design08 Apr 2005 16:29 GMT7
I am interested in the lens specifications (Zemax design) of a Nikkon
lens (105mm f2d). Does enybody have any idea on how to find them? I
called Nikon technical support, but they did not tell me anything, not
even if there is a patent for that lens. I found there a jerk called
need advice on Sigma AF 28-200mm F3.8-5.6 UC Asph (for Canon)08 Apr 2005 14:19 GMT4
seems to be quite rear lens. Google finds only few exotic references.
Not produced anymore. One of them is for sale and I'd like to find out
if it is any good for amateur use (as a sole lens for eos 300/rebel
2000). The used UC is in good condition and costs 57% less than brand
Minox 35 EL 6V battery - will it cause underexposure?08 Apr 2005 09:33 GMT2
Since it is impossible to find the PX-27 5.6 volt mercury cell I have bought
a 6.0 volt silver oxide replacement battery. Will the increase in voltage
from 5.6 volt to 6.0 volt cause underexposure? If so, how can I adjust my

How to use loupe with unmounted slides?08 Apr 2005 08:44 GMT5
How do I look at unmounted slides with a loupe?  Seems to me that
leaving them in the plastic sleeves will interfere with viewing,
while taking the film strips out of their sleeves and putting them
directly on a light-table might cause scratches.

Having trouble setting aperature on Nikon N6508 Apr 2005 00:12 GMT10
I'm trying to photograph the Northern Lights.  I don't really know much
about cameras... I can set the shutter speed just fine, but my friend says
I need to adjust the aperature as well.  Everytime I try I get a blinking
"FEE" on my display.  I can't seem to find a good link to an ...
