| CRR (Camera Repairs & Restoration) for Leica in England | 20 Apr 2005 13:52 GMT | 5 |
This appears to be the last resort for my Leica M3 with the blacked out finder. According to their website http://www.angelfire.com/biz/Leica/ they are able to fix the finder by resilvering the prisms and re-cementing them.

| Lens diaphragm doesn't open completely (Nikon 50 1.4 AI) | 19 Apr 2005 14:57 GMT | 6 |
I recently acquired a second-hand Nikon 50mm 1.4 manual focus. The lens behaves strangely: according to my camera light meter, it is two stops slower than a 50 1.8 lens that I trust (i.e. if I set them at the same aperture, the light meter suggests an exposure time two
