[Film] Fuji Superia 10003 Apr 2005 17:42 GMT10
My local dollar store is selling 24-exposure rolls of Fuji Superia 100 for a
buck each.  I'm talking about the regular stuff, not the Reala.  I've never
used this particular emulsion, though I have used the Superia Xtra 400 and
800.  I assume that this is a very saturated film.  Is ...
Sticky aperture ring on 20mm lens.03 Apr 2005 07:04 GMT2
I have a Nikon 20mm 2.8 Af lens that has only seen use on AF cameras
since new. When I use it on my FM3a or FG, the aperture ring is sticky
and hard to rotate. It does seem to be getting better, but I'd like to
make it move as easily as my mf lenses. The aperture blades do work

[SI] ugly comments02 Apr 2005 08:21 GMT8
- disclaimers:
I like gritty urban subjects; there's something appealing to me in the
devolved rawness of manmade structures, especially when it's
unintentional as a result of neglect, time, or just plain ignorance.
ANNI DROPS DIGITAL !!!02 Apr 2005 01:37 GMT1
After my bad experience with my hard drive this week, I've finally
decided to get rid of all my digital Canon junk and go back to shooting
film exclusively.  I mean, everybody knows that even the best digital
can't compare to some good Reala or Velvia.
poll of owners 70-200F4 L01 Apr 2005 22:24 GMT11
how many own one, did you get the lens hood and soft case included?  Very
interested in Uk owners.  As it may vary.  Especially as canon think the uk
are a low priority and they have a habit of renaming stuff for different
counties.  ta!
Inexpensive Manual SLR's01 Apr 2005 22:09 GMT17
Are there inexpensive manual SLR's(off-brands are alright)out there that
will function tolerably?  I am easy to please, since I am a happy Zenit
owner. ;)
Thanks,

Need advice on flash for D7001 Apr 2005 18:19 GMT4
Hi friends,
I do mostly close up photography of flowers, which lens should I choose
for 60 mm f/2.8 d micro lens . Does the sb 800 do a good job or should I
stick with the sb-29 ring flash . Any advices are greatly appreciated.
Broken Ricoh GR-1s01 Apr 2005 03:21 GMT4
My Ricoh GR-1s stopped working recently, basically the aperture thingy
doesn't open and the flash doesn't fire when I try and take a photo.
I dropped it years ago and it worked fine for ages after that, then
stopped working fairly recently, I don't know if the two are related.
