I have an Old NIKON FE.

I see the place mention 100 times here to buy self adhesive foam.
but the only question is:
MACRO MADNESS WITH THE 20D !!!29 Apr 2005 23:07 GMT52
Well sports fans, the day has arrived!
I have finally obtained the famous Canon 65mm MP-E Macro lens that I
have been coveting for some time.  I plan to take lots of cool macro
shots with this beauty.  It's a cool lens.  Just resting on the camera
Elite chrome 20029 Apr 2005 07:43 GMT11
I bought some Elite chrome 200 from a minilab on the the day they were
closing down for $AU4.20/36 shot film. I have never used this film
before so would like to know ifis it any good. Did I waste my money?
Thanks
D1x and d lenses29 Apr 2005 06:56 GMT6
Hi girls and boys,
Just a silly problem here (I hope....). I just tried out a Nikon D1x. The
camera was setup with a 24-70mm lens (not a 'D' or 'G' type). Every shot was
okay and the camera gave a preview. Changing the lens to a 'D' type: the 20
How does adding extension affect macro lenses?28 Apr 2005 18:30 GMT2
Regarding extension and magnification, I understand that the level of
magnification is defined by the calculation focal length/extension used, so
for a 100mm lens, if I add 50mm of extensions I get a 1:2 (half life size).
Now, what happens if this lens is a macro lens already ...
Electro35 battery question.28 Apr 2005 17:43 GMT7
I seem to be collecting Yashica Electro 35s, maybe because they're
cheap?  Looking at Ebay this evening, I find a GS for $16US, but with an
interesting assertion in the description.  Seller says that the camera
has been fitted with the correct Yashica specified battery, a Duracell
P&S recommendations27 Apr 2005 20:47 GMT24
Tired of hauling my big SLR around at times, so I'd like to get a nice
little P&S film camera to just slide in my pocket. Something like a 28-80 or
so on the zoom.  Any thoughts?
Alternatively, I would like to have a digital with similar specs, where
Buying the Canon EOS 300D digital camera27 Apr 2005 11:10 GMT15
I am thinking of buying the Canon EOS 300D digital camera. I own the
35mm version of this camera.
I'd be interested in comments about this camera.
The reasons for buying this camera is changeable lends and control
Best low light film?27 Apr 2005 09:28 GMT10
I may be taking some photos at a concert in a few days.
Do people prefer  Delta 3200 or Fuji Neopan 1600 for this sort of
thing? [On 35mm]

It strikes me that M.C. Escher would enjoy this shot...

Changing Fuji DL-500 (Mini Wide) battery27 Apr 2005 01:19 GMT1
There's a 2025 battery in the Fuji DL-500 (a.k.a. Fuji Mini Wide) that
operates both the date imprint and the camera's LCD control panel. It's
a little bit of a challenge to replace. Has anyone done this
replacement themselves? Or if anyone's aware of instructions online, is
Cheaper EOS with mirror lock?27 Apr 2005 00:48 GMT4
I have had the Canon 300v (Rebel Ti if I am not mistaken) for about a year
now and I am happy with it features-wise but I find it lacking two things
which by now I consider important: mirror lock and user-selected metering
mode.
pulling tmax 3200 to 40027 Apr 2005 00:36 GMT2
I've got a friend who accidentally exposed a kodak tmax3200 film at iso 400.
Since we had quite high expectations about the photographs we wondered if anyone
knows how this can be properly developed so that at least something is left from
the photographs.
dumb Leica question27 Apr 2005 00:13 GMT3
I recently decided to try the Russia Zorki cameras and got one with
the Leica like bottom load (Zorki-5 with telescoping I-50).  I can see
how to load it but how do the Leica clones and real bottom loading
leicas get the film firm up against the film gate???
