Yashica Electro 35 shutter button09 Mar 2005 20:16 GMT30
Anyone else got one of these cameras?
How should the shutter button behave after taking a shot.  Mine seems to pop
up after a slight hesitation with a loud clunk.
Is this normal?

Tamron 28-75/2.8 vs Minolta 28-75/2.809 Mar 2005 00:11 GMT11
Pop Photo tested the Minolta 28-75/2.8 was tested for their Feb 2005 issue.
The optically similar Tamron 28-75/2.8 Di was tested last year; I'm not

Tamron 2.8 28-75 LD XR vs Tokina 28-70 AT-X vs Nikon 28-70 2.8 AFS08 Mar 2005 16:52 GMT8

advice for second canon lens08 Mar 2005 15:07 GMT4
I have been using a Canon Elan 7 since 2001 and am very happy with it.
When traveling, I have often wished I had a second body so I could have
each loaded with a different kind of film (e.g., slide and print, color
and b&w, etc.).

[SI] Symmetry - My Comments08 Mar 2005 13:24 GMT25
As we progress, in the Northern Hemisphere (that one that counts) towards
spring, the number of phots in the SI is slowly emerging from the winter
doldrums...
With the symmetry mandate, a few interesting interpretations, so without further

No more Velvia07 Mar 2005 22:34 GMT79
I just read in Amateur Photographer that Fuji are to permanently cease
production of Velvia 50 in a year's time. Apparently they can't get one

There will be an ISO 100 replacement (not to be confused with the
