| Yashica Electro 35 shutter button | 09 Mar 2005 20:16 GMT | 30 |
Anyone else got one of these cameras? How should the shutter button behave after taking a shot. Mine seems to pop up after a slight hesitation with a loud clunk. Is this normal?

| Tamron 28-75/2.8 vs Minolta 28-75/2.8 | 09 Mar 2005 00:11 GMT | 11 |
Pop Photo tested the Minolta 28-75/2.8 was tested for their Feb 2005 issue. The optically similar Tamron 28-75/2.8 Di was tested last year; I'm not sure when, but I wrote down SQF scores, unfortunately just grades and not numbers. Even so, there is a big discrepancy at the long end ...

I have been using a Canon Elan 7 since 2001 and am very happy with it. When traveling, I have often wished I had a second body so I could have each loaded with a different kind of film (e.g., slide and print, color and b&w, etc.).

- Al Denelsbeck: I like the composition with the odd-one-out at the end. good texture in the headstones. to push the symmetry it could use a baby. (: my only criticism is that it appears to be a very literal treatment of

As we progress, in the Northern Hemisphere (that one that counts) towards spring, the number of phots in the SI is slowly emerging from the winter doldrums... With the symmetry mandate, a few interesting interpretations, so without further

| No more Velvia | 07 Mar 2005 22:34 GMT | 79 |
I just read in Amateur Photographer that Fuji are to permanently cease production of Velvia 50 in a year's time. Apparently they can't get one of the magic ingredients. There will be an ISO 100 replacement (not to be confused with the
