| Canon 16-35L vs 17-40L | 23 Mar 2005 19:02 GMT | 2 |
I'm considering one of these two lenses. Has anyone used both lenses? The 17-40 gets fantastic reviews, perhaps better than the 16-35. The 16-35 offers one more stop, and extra wide millimeter and is reportedly better at the long end. The 17-40 is $700 less, and that's a lot. ...

I got out of my pick-up this morning, opened the back door and my Leica M3 bag fell out of the truck and onto the concrete floor. It was still in the bag, but the jolt has shifted something and now the viewfinder has blacked out. ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Colour Laser printers | 22 Mar 2005 02:24 GMT | 12 |
Has anyone started using these things yet? I recently got a Samsung CLP-500 but I am very disappointed with it. I didn't buy it with the notion of using it to make high quality colour prints, but rather to use as a quick and easy brochure maker.

| SB-800 wireless | 21 Mar 2005 21:31 GMT | 10 |
I'm using the SB-800 with the D70. I'd like to fire the SB-800 wireless without the build-in flash to fire. Is that possible? How do I setup the flash? When I setup the SB-800 to REMOTE, then it fires only when the build-in flash in on, but then the build-in flash fires together ...
