Hi, I have a nikon FE2 camera and I would like to but a 300mm lens.I saw some good prices of these lenses, but I'm undecided.Is possibly the old AI 300mm f4.5 lens better the the current F4 AF-S?Because I have the feeling that the the old AI lenses are better built then the AF ...

I have a Minolta 3500xi flashgun. It works impeccably with my Dynax (Maxxum) 800si camera, both on-camera and off. I've recently bought a Dimage A2 digital camera. The flashgun works fine when mounted on the camera. However, I can't persuade it to work

I still have my old telephoto lens 1:35, f = 200 mm made in Japan for Image. This telephoto has not been used for about 18-20 years. It was stored in a leather container. I had no problem cleaning the outside of the lens with the appropriate cleaner.

If I pull a 50mm lens off the camera body so I can focus closer how accurately does that simulate what a 50mm macro lens would do? I focused on a negative and I could fill a quarter of the view finder at roughly 4 inches or so from the front of the lens which I think simulates 1 ...

... Bought this from Ebay ... it worked for a while, then the film advance began skipping frames. Finally the mirror stuck in the up position, and the film rewind button is stuck in the depressed position. Fresh batteries didn't help. Any ideas out there? Thanks ...

I got back some prints from Walmart the other day and they had red (developing fluid?) on them and the negs. Is this from dirty equipment or not changing chemicals? I have put many rolls of C41 through there in the last year and this is the first time this has happen. It happen
