Inspiration15 Feb 2005 12:05 GMT12
Any ideas?
Save for a trip into London I've not taken any pictures since Christmas.
I've not even thought about getting around to taking pictures for the shoot
in.
Is 35mm Technicolor Film still available?15 Feb 2005 01:27 GMT31
I used to buy 35mm camera film from Seattle Film Works that was repackaged
Technicolor movie film. The film had very low graininess and at the time I
had several very large prints made which were quite good. Are they still in
business?
Fed up with lude remarks14 Feb 2005 22:18 GMT10
I for one am now sick and tired of these lude and frankly rude messages
being posted in here. This group can be accessed by my children, who share
my interest in photography as a hobby. As the people who run this group are
obviously incapable to stopping these messages, it leaves ...

Today was a good day to get out and torment the hawks.
These were all taken handheld with the Forgotten 400 f/5.6L and the
20D.

Can't give film cameras away???14 Feb 2005 14:24 GMT2
Jeez, I've had my Minolta 650si and another film camera ( Rollei Prego 90 )
on Ebay for several days now, have kept lowering the price, and it looks like
no one will bid on film cameras anymore. No one wants them.

Focus Issue with Canon Rebel G14 Feb 2005 02:45 GMT4
I have had my Rebel G about 4 years, it has worked great until around
Jan. this year. Now it cannot focus in anything but very bright light.
I tried 2 zoom lenses, the original Canon will not work, or my Sigma
28-135. Does anyone here have an idea what would cause this or how to

Fact is most csma posters have noticed that Snit is different. Here is

Has anyone used GE Reveal light bulbs for indoor photography?11 Feb 2005 15:44 GMT15
I've been wondering about these GE "Reveal" light bulbs. Can they be used
indoors for photography or are they not correctly color balanced? Until now,
I've been using an 81A (blue) filter when taking indoor pictures and
daylight balabced film.
[SI] Next Mandate: Symmetry11 Feb 2005 14:59 GMT6
Early? Nah, I think it's Friday somewhere:
The next mandate is Symmetry. Give me a photographic presentation of
symmetry of shape, form, color, or something of your choosing.
I chose this because I think it is generic enough to provide anyone,

Can someone who owns this tripod give me a honest opinion (pros and cons)
about it?
Here are pictures of the tripod:

Who Invented Circular Aperture?10 Feb 2005 20:59 GMT11
What company or person invented the circular aperture?  The benefit
is that it creates more-rounded better-looking specular highlights
when the lens is near wide open.
(Thanks, I couldn't find the answer to this question with Google.)

First off, a good mandate to get one out of the house.  The weather here has
been bitter cold however, so I never did get out...

A mandate meant for Bob, that for sure.  A fairly common treatment of a church
