It looks like I'm not the only one who played a little with this mandate.
Maybe it was the time of year, or maybe it was just the right time to get a

Sitting on my desk at this moment is a Leica M3, serial number 1045XXX,
together with Leitz Summicron 1:2/50, Leitz Elmar 1:4/135, Leica Meter MC,

My question is: "What's the best value in a Canon SLR film body".  Here's
the scenario:
I'm thinking of bagging my 20 year old manual focus system which features a
body that has become unreliable.

You arrive home and as you are pulling into your driveway you notice that
your house is on fire.
You run into the blaze to save what you can but you only have time to pull
out either your cameras or the photos you have taken with them. Not both.

I have become intrigued by vintage Leica's such as the Leica IIIf or
IIIg.and wonder if they have good mechanism's and lenses. Any users out
there with opinions?

I think this is my favorite of the images posted so far.  This image
deconstructs the Mandate right to its core.  I was hoping that not
everyone would go literal.  Excellent!
