Anybody know anything about the camera?
What's the difference between the Paxette Super II and the Braun Super

They look the same..
Canon: 7NE VS. EOS-3 VS. EOS-1N09 Jan 2005 10:18 GMT14
I'm in the market for a new 35mm body. I've been partial to Canon for a long
time, and I quite like the two we currently have. I was initially looking at a
brand new EOS Elan 7NE, but as of late I've become interested in the 1N (or 1N
RS) and the EOS-3 that replaced it. I'd like to ...
[SI] Vivid - comments09 Jan 2005 03:02 GMT19
My comments on the "Vivid" Shoot in...

The red tree certainly is vivid, esp. as it sticks out from the rest of
the somewhat dull shot.  The same shot taken on a sunny day would have

Nothing quite as vivid as the colors that flash before your eyes as you
relize that the poison dart frog has just gotten you.

What to say to this magazine photo editor09 Jan 2005 01:07 GMT22
A magazine asks me if I can provide, with my digital camera, a 9x12 image at
300 dpi
My E-10 will give 9x12 at about 187 dpi.  I would have to resample to get
them 300 dpi.

Pentax Takumar lens auto pin is stuck08 Jan 2005 13:21 GMT2
The auto aperture pin on the back of my 50mm SMC Macro-Takumar (screw
mount) is stuck all the way in. I can still set the diaphragm to the
required stop, but the lens is always stopped down, and open-aperture
metering and focusing won't work.

with Panotools.

FLYING HIGH IN 2005 WITH THE 20D !!07 Jan 2005 22:16 GMT14
It's a new year, but the 20D keeps cranking out great shots.

[SI] And finally, "Vivid" is posted.07 Jan 2005 22:14 GMT5

mean it can't still be found at http://www.pbase.com/shootin/vivid

Alrighty!! I want an M3!! Opinions sought!07 Jan 2005 20:20 GMT25
I 've got an itch for a Leica M3--I normally a MF (Hasselblad) user so
the mechanics (all manual) is not an issue!! I have a Canon Dig Rebel/(Canon
Film SLR too!) I play with but I long for a classic. I'm curious as to
whether the Leica can live up to my expectations as my Canon ...

I am not if you have spotted this as well:  Rob Galbraith posted on
his web page a news note that Nikon announced an official delivery
start of the D2X on Jan. 3, 2005.  I saw it than by myself, but do
not ask me about the posted price. Assuming that the note is to stay,
