MY wife is interested in picking up photography as a hobby and I am looking for a good biginner camera that will not break the bank. She wants a 35 mm. We know very little about photography. Any input and advice are greatly appreciated.

I've got a Cokin A series mount already and want to get a neutral density grad for it. Looking at Cokin's literature and website, I can only find full neutral density filters (eg. "152 Neutral Grey ND2"

First, sorry for my bad english since i am a chinese from Hong Kong. I am going to go north of the china for travel next month. The temperture is only around -20C. I don't know whether my Contax G2 can work in such enviroment. Does anyone have any experience?

This is my first attempt at this, so please be patient. Paul: I like the idea. In fact, I toyed with it myself. Your execution is straight forward and pleasant, but I would have liked to see better lighting on the label. It was a nice interpretation of the mandate.

Anyone know if Wal-Mart's Photo lab has the option to put 35mm film on cd-only? I wonder if it any less expensive than having them put on film. I tried calling several times today and the number has been busy.
